Giving/Grants

Give to the DSCF General Fund

You can make a one-time contribution to the Foundation’s General Fund that will go toward the Foundation’s on-going efforts to support area nonprofits, educate the community in the ways and means to expand the nonprofit services provided to the community, and promote philanthropy among the residents of the greater Dripping Springs area.

Give to the Dedicated FISCAL Sponsorship Fund

You may also choose to donate to one of several dedicated funds currently in place to serve the community or you may establish a new fund to support your favorite community cause or charity.

Create a Donor-Advised Fund

You can establish a donor-advised fund through which your family or business can make a single or periodic contribution. If you have a favorite charity, your family or business can specify it as the recipient or select different recipients at your discretion.

Scholarship Funds

Scholarship funds may be established for all levels of education and a variety of educational needs. The DSCF will assist donors in establishing funds that meet their desires within the educational system.

Estate Planning

Finally, you can include a gift to the Foundation or any of its dedicated funds as part of your state plan. Life insurance offers an easy and affordable way to create a community legacy with tax-deductible dollars used to pay premiums and at your death, the proceeds will be paid to the Foundation to be allocated to the Dripping Springs nonprofit organizations of your choice. This type of policy provides a low-cost means for making a substantial and significant contribution simply by paying a modest one time or annual premium. The amount of the policy can be adapted to your individual ability and needs.

All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Foundation can help you explore the options that best suit your particular financial situation and your personal goals for charitable giving.
