Heritage Circle (Friends of the Pound House)
Heritage Circle awarded $509 from DSCF.



Burke Center for Youth
Burke Center for Youth awarded $1500 from DSCF.

DSCF Charity Truck Raffle Winner Announced.  Over $38,000 to Benefit Harrison Ranch Park.


On April 17th, at the Dripping Springs Founder's Day, Mayor Todd Purcell declared the lucky ticket holder, Mike Woodward, 

of Dripping Springs, the winner and now proud owner of the fully restored 1970 1/2 ton red Chevy Truck donated to the Foundation by area residents Larry and Terry Lacy. 

The total amount raised from the truck raffle was $38,315.00 and all the proceeds will go to benefit Harrison Ranch Park.



DSCF CONGRATULATES Patti Clark

DSCF Board Member Patti Clark has won the 2010 DS Chamber Citizen of the Year Award and has been named the 2011 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Austin Chapter. Congratulations from the DSCF Board of Directors on her well deserved accomplishments.

DSCF Fiscal Sponsorship
 
The DSCF accepted the City of Dripping Springs Harrison Ranch Park, as a new Fiscal Sponsor Fund. The Fund will be used to accept donations for the park from donors requiring a 501(c)(3) designated fund. Harrison Ranch Park, a 68-acre property, will enable future generations to remain rooted to the Hill Country lands and rural way of life.

DSCF “Meet and Greet"
A Meet and Greet Reception was held at the Hemisphere Marketplace & Cafe on August 30, 2010. Speaker Dr. Ken Gladish, former President and CEO of the Austin Community Foundation presented information on the history of community foundations and the DSCF relationship with the Austin Community Foundation.


DSCF Honors Founding Members
The Dripping Springs Community Foundation celebrated its 10th year of service on January 11, 2010 and honored its founding members: Susan and Bob Richardson, Claireen and Doyle Fellers, Cindi and Rex Baker, Cindy and Mike Figer, Judy and Paul Watkins, Pam Owens and Jay Francis.
